One way to really move the money needle in your business, is to develop the front of house sales skills. Like any other skill they can be taught, but surprisingly they rarely are. It’s a sizable, missed opportunity for most venues. Front of house ‘training’ usually just involves bringing new staff up to speed on how the business operates, but they’re never really taught how to sell.
Our approach considers all the touch points and interactions with guests as opportunities to improve service and maximise revenue – which is largely the responsibility of the front of house sales team. Having an actual strategy in the business which focuses on this is a powerful accelerant on takings. Usually owners and managers are too busy to provide this training or don’t have any specific system in place, which is why we created this service offering to step in and do it for them.

PREPARATION PHASE
Once we agree to work together, depending on which service you’re choosing, there’ll be an engagement letter, some preparation of company information and/or planning to make the relevant staff available for the process.

DELIVERY
All of the service offerings are delivered on site at your venue or at an agreed available space. We’re very conscious of not intruding on service periods so depending on the package, we’ll work with your team to decide what’s appropriate. Several parts of the offering necessitate that we observe proceedings, which once again we do from the sidelines or as a paying customer.
